Description: This accelerated bootcamp is intended for system administrators, networking professionals, and anyone responsible for configuration of the LANDESK environment. Pre-existing product knowledge is not required outside the viewing of the prerequisite E-Learning modules.

This five-day training course covers topics from both LANDESK Management Suite and LANDESK Security Suite products. Using the combination of both E-Learning and instructor-led training, students will quickly learn key fundamental skills on how to configure the LANDESK environment. Students will configure role-based administration, generate standard and custom reports, and learn how to fine tune their system according to best known methods. Hands-on exercises are available for pushing the LANDESK agent, capturing inventory, remote control, software distribution, deploying patches, and working with Operating System Deployment and Provisioning.

LANDESK Service Desk Boot Camp

Description: This accelerated boot camp is intended for IT professionals tasked with the administration and design of LANDESK Service Desk. There is no requirement for existing knowledge of the LANDESK products, however prerequisite E-Learning modules are required viewing for anyone new to the products.

This five-day training course covers topics from both the administrative and design functions within LANDESK Service Desk. In-class learning is supplemented by E-Learning modules. Students will learn how to configure and manage the key aspects of LANDESK Service Desk, including object, window and process design, test to live, multi-lingual, dynamic windows, web access for both analysts and end users, and many more administrative functions.

What Is It?
LANDESK Education Instructor-Led Online (ILO) classes are taught live by a Certified LANDESK Instructor at a specific date and time. Students attend and participate in an interactive classroom environment from the comfort of their home or office using a broadband Internet connection.

Students also have access to a virtual lab environment, and receive guided, hands-on training to complete the accompanying labs. The curriculum includes several focused E-Learning courses that are made available to students both prior to and after the instructor-led portion of the class. Printed courseware is sent to the student ahead of time.

How Does It Work?
Students receive an e-mail invitation to log-in via the Internet to view the instructor’s desktop and lab environment in a Web browser. Students see a live stream Web delivery of the instructor's screen as she/he speaks, provides examples, and answers questions. Audio is provided by telephone and conference bridge information is sent by e-mail.

LANDESK Service Desk Certified LANDESK Engineer

The Certified LANDESK Engineer (CLE) exam certifies you have the proven ability and experience to successfully administer and design the LANDESK Service Desk system. Those wishing to take the exam should have attended the LANDESK Service Desk Boot Camp or have at least six months experience (or equivalent knowledge) using LANDESK Service Desk.

LANDESK Systems and Security Management Certified LANDESK Engineer

The Certified LANDESK Engineer (CLE) exam certifies you have the proven ability and experience to successfully manage and deploy LANDESK Systems and Security Solutions. Those wishing to take the exam should have attended the LANDESK Systems and Security Management Boot Camp or have at least six months experience (or equivalent knowledge) using LANDESK Management Suite and LANDESK Security Suite.
