LONDON - 5 September, 2012 - LANDESK Software
, a global leader in systems lifecycle management, endpoint protection and IT service management, today announced the opening of four offices to support customers and partners in the fast-growing markets of Eastern Europe. The offices, located in Moscow, Prague, Bratislava and Warsaw, will provide local sales, marketing, technical support and consultancy to customers and partners in Russia, the CIS, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, the Baltic States and South Eastern Europe.
With continued strong adoption of IT across the region, Eastern Europe has proven to be among LANDESK's fastest growing markets, posting double digit revenue growth during the past 2 years, with a substantial portion of that growth coming from new licences and subscriptions. With a healthy sales pipeline indicating further significant growth, LANDESK recognised that the region's potential would be most effectively supported by a local presence.
Andrzej Baldin, Vice President EMEA at LANDESK, commented: "Up to this point we have supported our partners and customers in Eastern Europe through our UK and German operations. However, our customers and partners are increasingly demanding that we provide increased support in local language and people who are more in tune with the business landscape and culture. This is a significant investment being made at a time when other vendors are looking to cut costs, and reflects our belief in, and commitment to, the region."
While existing partners include Arbyte, Insight, Alstor and Soitron, LANDESK expects the new in-country teams, to expand the partner eco-system to better support an ever growing number of customers.
Neil Thomson, LANDESK Eastern European Regional Manager, said "LANDESK's investment in the region is a reflection of the demand for our Systems Management and Service Desk solutions. The Eastern European IT markets continue to consolidate and customers are increasingly demanding a single interface for management of their IT estate. Management of mobile devices in particular is proving to be particularly challenging as employees increasingly use a mixture of corporate and personal devices to access data. I believe that with our local presence and local language technical support, LANDESK should be at the top of any shortlist for enterprise-wide management systems. Along with a best of breed Service Desk solution and the recently acquired Wavelink technologies, LANDESK is well positioned to become a major force in Eastern Europe."
