LANDesk® Host Intrusion Prevention System requires that LANDesk® Security Suite or LANDesk® Patch Manager be installed. It is recommended that either LANDesk® Antivirus or Symantec Antivirus 8, 9 or 10 or McAfee Enterprise 8.5 also be installed. Testing for interoperability with other antivirus solutions in your environment is recommended.
Core Server Requirements
The core server should be dedicated to hosting LANDesk® management products, and must not function as a domain controller or Active Directory controller.
If you are also running LANDesk® Management Suite, install LANDesk® Security Suite core services on the LANDesk Management Suite core server.
